Week 1 - 25/01/2010

The games have started and Kung Fu Pandas played a match against the new team Abraaj, I must say we did not really play that great, defense was fine but offense was not the best, it was a struggle finding spots and everyone was running around like crazy. In any case we managed to win the game but we really need to play much harder than this if we expect to make it to the playoffs.

The surprise of the match I must say was Gorgin who scored 3,three-pointers; this was by far one of his best performances. I scored 4 three-pointers and managed to get around 21 points, not bad for a start. It would be amazing if we could get more stats but for now it will be a bit difficult for me to memorize everything.

For now we are standing as #1 with 3 more teams, stay tuned till next week, where I will try to post some pictures of the team as well.

Week 2 - 01/02/2010
KFP 45 – 54 SSE
Well we lost! … I don’t really wanna put a lot of excuses but we were missing Yousef (foot injury), Derek (foot injury), and Mehdi (decided not to continue).  Instead Nasser (an old friend of mine) joined the team and I must say it was not his best game, actually the whole team did not play well, including me who only scored 1 point int he 1st half which ended with us being behind by 10 points, things got even worse beginning of the second half there was a point where we fell behind 25 points; most of it was my fault I was set to be the team leader and was not leading at all, at some point my shooting got on fire, hit 4 three-pointers in a row and 2 layups we really came back, and fell behind by only 5, but with 2 defense on me and the weak players we chose instead of Derek and Yousef it ended 45-54. I am sure we will play with this team again during playoffs and things will be different then, trust me!

Week 3 - 08/02/2010
KFP 59- 83 ENF
Well this was a really bad game, I played horrible and so did the rest of the guys, we lost a pretty easy game and trailed the whole time, some major changes are needed if we ever want to make it to the playoffs.

Week 4 - 15/02/2010
KFP 68- 58 REU
A game against Thompson Reuters players, this game was played well by both sides, we were again missing some of the key players but eventually made it through. I hit one three pointer but had around 10 layups and drives. All in all only person who played poorly was … you guessed it …. Gorgin

Week 5- 22/02/2010
KFP 66- 58 MAV
We played Marina Mavs this week, and Mehdi has returned to the team, this game was porbably our most organized game, Gorgin had a some good drives, Mehdi made a three, and I made 4 threes and another handful layups. Derek is also back, so we finally got the old guys together and it needed around 3-4 weeks. Anyways two wins in a row and we are back on track with a 3-2 record. Lets see what happens next week.
